Improving the tracking service of wolf populations

Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) wanted to improve its tracking service of wolf populations, and organized stakeholder events for feedback and suggestions. The first events was held in Kajaani in 2020. Akordi was in charge of the planning and facilitation of the events.
The aim of the events was to map the current use scenarios and needs of the service, and to improve the dialogue between relevant stakeholder groups. The invited stakeholder groups were the Finnish Hunters’ Association, the Finnish Wildlife Agency, regional hunting associations and councils, the Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners (MTK), regional councils, hunting dog associations, environmental organizations, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
