Akordi will be a facilitator for the Biodiversea LIFE IP workshop on marine restoration in April 2025. The working group preparing the workshop includes Metsähallitus Nature Services, Åbo Akademi University, the Natural Resources Institute Finland and the Ministry of the Environment.

The aim of the workshop is to support the implementation of the EU Restoration Regulation, particularly in relation to marine nature, and to ensure that the methods used for marine nature restoration are appropriate and that the documentation of marine nature restoration measures takes into account relevant issues.

Irina Niinivaara, Emma Luoma and Minna Näsman from Akordi will be responsible for planning, facilitating and reporting on the workshop.
