Taika Tikkanen
I started at Akordi as an intern in December 2024, after which I took the role of a communications specialist. I am mainly responsible for Akordi’s communications, but I also work on various projects. For example, I am involved in the production of our trainings and in the interaction tasks of the JustH2Transit research consortium. At the same time, I am working on my master’s thesis, in which I examine the establishing process of the Kvarken archipelago nature conservation area from the perspective of environmental mediation and co-management.
I am completing my studies in the Master’s Program of Administrative Science at Tampere University, majoring in Environmental Politics and Regional Studies. In my studies, I have focused particularly on issues of environmental conflicts and justice in the sustainability transition. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in Lifelong Learning and Education, during which I developed my understanding of the role of learning in societal change, among other things. In my bachelor’s thesis, I examined the values of sustainable economic policy leadership education from the perspective of eco-social literacy.
